Speaking of maps...

A little while back I did a bunch of in game maps. I'm a little fascinated with in game graphics and GUI. I haven't seeked out jobs of this kind but I notice them every-time a play a game. I think it would be a lot of fun to create an interface from the ground up, or at the least to invent the window dressing from the ground up.

What I've seen of the world

I used to think I had seen a heap of this ol rock but seems otherwise when I look at the map of where I've been, more like half.





Now I know half in this case is still a lot. But I'm greedy that way.

Toronto Comiccon

So Joe and I will be at the Show coming up in just a little under 2 weeks.

We'll be sitting at AA15 and AA16. Here is a map. I'll have a new sketchbook, new t-shirts. New prints. New stickers. A heap of pre-ordered commissions ready for pick up.

And the first issue of night(or a huge chunk of it) on display. Come by say hi. Support my child and buy stuff! I'll be doing commissions and sketches but it's gonna be a first come first serve situation. So see you there!

in the key of street fighter...

I had made all the art for this series on floating backgrounds so for fun when I wrapped it up I tossed together a self promo pic of a bunch of them together, based on the layout of the issue 1 cover of street fighter, I might even put a logo together with something like PUB FIGHTER.

After 4 years of struggling to try and make a comic with Joe, we finally seem to be on track toward getting it to happen. although I still dig the first few pages I did last time round I decided to revisit them. and as I'm about half way through I thought I can start showing a bit of what I've been doing.

What have I been up to?
Moving, building, working, painting, doing shows, and all sorts of other non-blogging stuff.

And the other day after a long coffee and chat with Howard Wong (After the Cape) and Joe my partner in crime, where they both made a convincing argument that if I just force myself and get in the habit, I can post once a day. So...
